Terms of use

These terms apply when you create an account, post, comment, save music, make lists, or otherwise use TuneKin.

Beta notice

This is TuneKin's working policy for the private beta. Final legal review and confirmation of the privacy contact mailbox are required before public launch.

1. The beta

TuneKin is an invite-only beta. Features may change, break, or be withdrawn while the service is being tested. The beta is not offered to children: do not create an account if you are under 18.

2. Your account

Give accurate information, keep your sign-in details secure, and do not sell, share, or automate access to your account. You are responsible for activity carried out through it. Tell us through Feedback if you believe your account has been compromised.

3. What you can share

You keep ownership of the words and original material you post. You give TuneKin a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, display, reproduce, and distribute that material only as needed to operate and improve the service. Do not post material you do not have the right to share.

Spotify names, artwork, links, and other music metadata remain the property of their respective owners. TuneKin does not host music playback and is not endorsed by Spotify.

4. Safety and acceptable use

Follow the Community rules. In particular, do not use TuneKin for child sexual abuse or exploitation, credible threats, encouragement of suicide or serious self-harm, hatred targeting protected characteristics, terrorism, illegal activity, targeted harassment, impersonation, spam, or attempts to compromise the service.

TuneKin is intended to allow robust opinions and disagreement about music. We will not remove content merely because it is unpopular, blunt, or critical.

5. Moderation

We may use automated checks and human review to restrict content or accounts that breach these terms or create serious risk. You can report posts, comments, profiles, or lists in the product. If we act against your account, use Feedback to ask for a review. We may preserve records where reasonably necessary for safety, appeals, fraud prevention, or legal obligations.

6. Availability and liability

The beta is provided as available and without a promise that it will always be uninterrupted or error-free. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded. Subject to that, TuneKin is not responsible for indirect loss or for third-party services, links, music availability, or provider outages outside its control.

7. Ending use and changes

You can export your data or delete your account from Account settings. We may suspend or close accounts for serious or repeated breaches, safety risks, or abuse of the service. Material changes to these terms will be shown in the product before they take effect.

8. Contact and law

Contact TuneKin through Feedback while signed in. The intended privacy contact is privacy@tunekin.com; the mailbox must be confirmed before public launch. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, without removing any mandatory consumer rights that apply where you live.
